Utah Trip

We headed to Utah this past weekend for our good friend Chas's wedding. It was short and sweet, but we saw a lot of family and friends and it turned out to be a great trip!

We drove through the night and arrived in Bountiful at 4:30am to spend the day with my Nicoll grandparents.

 

We visited the Bountiful Temple just a few streets up the hill from my grandparents.

 Jackson loved playing with his cousins (my cousins) and we loved being with the Nicoll family!

We were able to stop by my Great Grandma Rhea's home in Spanish Fork. She passed away in 2007 and her son moved into the home and restored and updated the home. My great great Grandparents cleared the land and built this home. It was beautiful and I we so happy we could stop by!

I used to feed the sheep and watch the animals on the farm, and now it is Jackson's turn. He LOVED the cows and chickens and has learned to point at things..

Saturday was the wedding and Ammon was a groomsmen. We had a funfilled day! Ammon and I had never been inside the Salt Lake Temple before. It is Beautiful!!! What a beautiful ceremony and Chas and Sarah looked so Happy!

 The nephews were wearing these hats for a song they were singing at the luncheon, ammon of course wanted to try it on.

 My Dear Dear Very Dear Friend Brittany came to the reception! We chit chatted and caught up with our lives. I was able to get to know her new husband and we had a great time seeing eachother.

 We stayed the last night in Provo with Ammon's grandparents. We Lucked out and when we arrived to their house at 10pm fireworks were started at a local parade. We watched them from the backyard and jackson thought they were so neat. he couldn't take his eyes off. He kept pointing and talking, and when they were all done he kept yelling and pointing wanting them to turn back on. It was cute!

Jackson met his great grandparents for the first time and my little boy has already showed them that he loves them. He is so friendly and Loves getting attention from people.

Jackson was such a good sport riding in the car! he slept most of the way there (because we drove through the night) and the ride back he did better than we expected. He got a fever half way through the drive home, poor guy. But suckers, toys and singing kept him entertained.
