Baby news!!!

We are having a baby!

I came home from work on Friday, the middle of November and had been feeling so hungry and weird. So I took a few pregnancy tests. I had taken many before in the last year with the result each time as negative. This time it was different and I took three just to make sure! I was so excited to tell Ammon! I put the tests in a little blue box and put it down the street in our mailbox. After he came home from work we went on a walk to get the mail, where he reached in to pull out a BIG surprise! We had smiles from ear to ear and we thought about being parents....what a privledge and we are So excited to welcome a baby in our home!

Here is my current "Tummy"... I have gained thirteen pounds. I know it seems a lot for only being 16weeks, let me explain....

When I was 6 weeks along I got a cold that lasted almost two weeks. I had the hardest time breathing when I exercised, so I stopped until I got over my cold. Then The Tiredness set in and after working 8 hrs on my feet, picking up the house and making dinner I could not get enough energy to exercise. This sounds so silly, but I was really exhausted. My husband was so good at letting me fall asleep at 6:30 and I would sleep until 6 the next morning....I was a lazy bum.

But since last week I have not felt tired and can finally stay up past eight! I am so happy! People at work tell me I am glowing. Ammon came to the Dr. apt yesterday and we saw our baby and found out the gender. The baby was moving a lot and waving both arms at the camera! So cute!

Look Who came home!!! Elder Andrew Nicoll returned home from serving in San Antonio, Texas.

I used a PTO day and enjoyed hanging out with my family all day!

My brother left two months before Ammon and I were married. He came home to a married sister and new brother-in-law!

What a wonderful Christmas! We love having both families close by. We spoke to my two brothers on Missions...Missionary #1 comes home February 1st!!!

My Boy...

Its December and tonight I am reminiscing about when I decided this boy was a keeper...

Back in December 2005 I admitted I had a crush. I didn't have many crushes, so this was a big deal. This boy has turned my life around. The fall of 2005 was a struggle for me. I was dealing with something that at the time seemed like a big deal; Not being able to play my favorite sport for 6 months was rough. During this time not much made me happy, for some reason I was in the slumps, a place I never like to be. When I decided sports weren't everything and it was okay that I had knee surgery, I found this boy to entertain me. He has been entertaining me for 6 years....

Don't you Love trials? I look at other's trials and wonder how they overcome them... heavenly Father knows us and gives us only what we can handle. My trials have been very little, but I am happy to not face them a lone. Heavenly Father is aware of us and will bless us when the storm is through. Actually he blesses us during the storm, but sometimes we don't see the blessings until the clouds clear.

Lately I have looked at my life and counted all my blessings. Life is good. Never give up. Fight through the storm and look forward to the beautiful rainbow! I am so Happy right now and am enjoying the rain!

This boy still opens my door every time we go in the car! He is a keeper...

I turned 23!!! I had a great birthday! I took the day off of work and went camping with the Nielsen family. We caught some fish and I survived the cold mountains.

A Wonderful Birthday complete with face wash, socks, a hat, movie and mints!

Can you guess what my husband is? My costume was easy/boring and simple. My dear husband announced six months ago as he rolled over one morning and told me what he wanted to be for Halloween....A beaver with a tooth ache. So here he stands... six months later in his invisioned costume!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I love our annual Nicoll hike and then played a little croquet with the Nielsens. I lost like always, but I was thankful I didn't hit my Husband with the club, like I accidently have done in the past, oops...

Christmas is coming! Our tree is up and we are preparing our talks that will be given on Christmas day! I never saw myself speaking in church on Christmas day, who knew! Wish us luck :)

Well i dont have pics yet, but we Are Moved in! About half way done decorating..i will post pictures when I am finished with a few more projects. My sweet Hubby has the day off for Veterans Day so he has been chosen to paint a wall RED. Good Luck Ammon!

I am really enjoying my new job. Being home more with my husband has been a huge plus of this job change.

We are loving life and enjoying our time together!

Ammon had been talking about pampering me with a homemade SPA TREATMENT...

I got a nice leg and arm massage then he painted my nails. TOES: every other toe was red and white, FINGERNAILS: caterpillars drawn with a permanent marker

Yes, This is whipped topping with food coloring and cucumbers on my face :)

Then he did magic with the make-up

-Blue eye shadow
-Lip liner
-Sprayed BLUE color in my Hair

A lot has happened this month...

First of all we put an offer on a beautiful home and it was accepted! We are hoping everything continues to go as planned and we get a cute home on Lindsay and University! I LOVE this home and really hope everything continues to go well.

I took a new position at a Nursing home...I am really excited for a change. I should be starting in two weeks.

This new job as some good perks:

1. Even though I will leave at 6:30am, I will be home every single night by four to eat dinner and enjoy the evenings with my husband, This is HUGE and I can't wait to be home at night with him and be able to attend all our family events again!

2. The Pay is higher :)

3. Hopefully less stress. Ammon is such a sport for putting up with me, but I owe him a wife that is not stressed when she comes home from work.

4. Good Insurance with a Maternity leave that will continue benefits while I am away, as long as I come back to work for them- at least 30hrs/week. I like this plan.

October marks a year of trying to get pregnant... Whenever I think of the trials in my life, I can't help but think of all the trials in everyones lives that way surpass mine. I look at ours as a mini hurdle. I Know God has a plan for everyone and we are made to jump these hurdles

My Friend is Engaged!!! So Happy for her! I get to help with the showers :) Big day is Nov 3rd...this is the fastest engagment I have ever heard of! Her brother leaves Nov 9th for his mission so they are putting everything on full speed and getting everything together in 7 weeks!

My Little Brother is off to the missionary training center to serve in the Santiago, Chile Mission. A few nights before Conrad left We went to Amazing Jakes and had a Blast!!! I will miss my brother, but am So Proud of him!

We went to the Dbacks game last night and had a ball! My husband loves Baseball. I never knew how much he loved this sport. He recently has told me stories about his love for the game. He talks about watching tons of Dbacks games back in Jr high with his buddy and can go on and on about "baseball talk". He filled me in on some of the good players in the league I should know (so I wouldnt embarrass myself if someone asked if I knew particular players). I also asked lots of questions about batting averages and if its common to get a triple play.

The game was SO good! They came back 5-1 and won 5-8!!! It was so fun in the nose bleed seats cheering and getting into the spirit of Baseball!

We have great friends and a wonderul family! It was so fun celebrating together. A BIG Thank You for coming to Ammon's Birthday Celebration!!!

I was So happy I was able to get everything put together and bake all the goodies the day before! Thank you to my sisters and Mom for helping with the finishing touches. Everything turned out great!

I was so proud of the ice cream cake, I thought I did a pretty good job :)

And the Best part of all....

AMMON didn't expect a thing! He was so surprised!

On Wednesday August 10th My sweet husband turns 23!

This man means the world to me. This first picture was a week after he returned from his mission, I was swept away. I have been so blessed to have him in my life. And to be married to this man! He is such a great husband, and tries so hard to be better each day. I appreciate all he does to help me around the house and he is always eager to take me to the Temple or out on a date. I Love spending time together!

Ammon makes me Laugh everyday! He brings so much happiness into my life, and he has for the past 6 years! He completes me and helps me become the woman, wife, daughter, sister, Mother that I am trying to be.

I have been working on a few surprises for his birthday! I am so excited for him to open his presents!!!

On Tuesday we leave for LA where we will spend two days riding bikes up and down the coast and play on the Beach with the Nielsen family. Then we will drive the 9.5 hours from LA to Vernon for the Naegle Reunion. So Super excited to be with family for a week and make lots of memories!!!

I Love when we Laugh....we make so many memories that will last forever.

Out of Eight kids, I was blessed to have an older sister to look up to and follow in her foot steps. I used to sit on our bed and watch her put on make-up and do her hair, I always thought my sister was beautiful and will always remember our times just chatting in our room...Every girl needs a sister, and I am so glad I have her!

Fourth of July Branding!

My job was to open and close the gates... I let the tough men run the animals down the shoot. Even though they are calves they kick hard, and Ammon has a swollen knee and bruises to show for it.

After Saturday branding we enjoyed the rest of the weekend up on the Mountain

We ended our trip at Willow Lake. The fish weren't fooled by our bait, we left empty handed, but had a great time over looking the beautiful forest covered lake!

On our way home we stopped by our special spot on the Rim...

Making memories together make us very Happy! We loved spending the weekend with Family and a special thanks to My sister for sharing her food, kids and lots of laughs!

Noise in the Kitchen

This morning at 6am I woke up to some noise in the kitchen....

It was this sweet man doing dishes and mopping the floor. I laid in bed half a asleep listening to my husband serve me. He always wants to help out around the house, but does not always know what to do. He got the hint last night that I would have to spend some time doing dishes and mopping our dirty floor the next morning, so he wanted to step in and lighten my load.

I am blessed to have this wonderful man in my life! This weekend we are heading up to the family ranch for some branding and fishing. I am super excited to spend a few days together and enjoy the great outdoors!

Father's Day....

Ammon is a wonderful Father in our home. For Fathers day he deserved a new pair of basketball shorts and I found a free 8x10 collage that I put together some family pictures taken back in November.

Ammon is going to be such a great dad!!!

He loves to play with our nieces and nephews and make them laugh. I am so excited to give him a little baby someday so he can tease and teach them to laugh and enjoy life.

Today was a perfect day!
I slept in and caught up on some beauty sleep, then took some time to do a nice long workout.
I wanted to take Ammon on a date... at 9am we put on our swimsuits and rollerbladed from our house to my parents (over 3 miles). We enjoyed chit chatting along the way and the sunny perfect weather! Our niece and nephew were at my parents so we invited them to join in on our slip and slide and sprinkler fun! We had a great time and finished up with some yummy hamburgers and hot dogs.

After our date we went to check out two homes for sale, BIG thanks to my Daddy. Ammon and I are having fun finding a home to buy, but it's a process and a lot of time goes into house hunting. My dad is such a Big Help! Thank you!

We had a fun time at a Love Your friend Activity (Look us up at Lyfclub.blogspot.com)!

We made it to the last Temple session for the evening and much to my surprise ran into a very dear friend from High school. I was so shocked to see her! She was visiting from Utah before heading to China for the summer for her husbands internship. I loved being with her in the Temple and catching up on our new lives. She is a beautiful Mother! I hope to one day be like her. She inspires me. I asked her to give me some advice to help me be better prepared to be a mother. She said, "Enjoy this time you have with just your husband". She told me she loves being a Mother, but it's a hard 24 hour job. I AM enjoying every moment I have with my husband. I think we are doing our very best to make the most out of our first years together. I will continue to serve him and try and be a better wife each day. I will continue to work hard at being a better wife and then someday have the responsiblity to take on the hard and tiring 24hour job as a Mother.

Tribute to all the Hardworking Moms! Keep smiling, one day your kids will be grown and out of the house and you will be once again alone with just you and your sweet hubby...

A treasure Hunt

Ammon suprised me by taking me on a TREASURE HUNT last Saturday. He got all of this pirate attire and off we went!

He cut out clues and burned the edges...it was all so Cute!Here were a few of the clues:

* You better hurry and get in your car, Because to find the next clue you need a dilly bar!

* On to where we swang and got twisted in the chains, we were so in love that night in the rain!

* Second grade is where our relationship began, Hurry to the front door as fast as you can!

* There is one more you dont want to miss, Of course it's the spot of our very first kiss!

At each destination he hid a picture frame, I collected a total of 7! We have been planning to make a special frame of pictures spelling out NIELSEN to hang on our wall. We had taken pictures last month and it was time for the next step to our project.

Here are some of the pictures: We took the idea out of a Desert Book magazine and wanted to be creative and make our own. This is the S and L, pictures of a side ways flower pot and a bench found at the Mesa Temple.

I laughed so hard and had such a great time! My husband means the world to me. I LOVE him very much!

What have we been up to....

1. AMMON started a 10 week long INTERNSHIP with Southwest Gas. He is enjoying working and learning new things!
2. I am enjoying teaching the SUNBEAM class in our ward. I Love having my sweet niece in the class and teaching her about her Heavenly Father and all of the many creations.
3. Spring is such a fun time of year! These lovely flowers were given to me by my Sister, aren't they Beautiful!

4. Mothers Day went rather well... This year I was in need of a Fly swatter. I love leaving the door open, But that means flys! After 10 mins of rounding up the flys and trying to get them out the door I am tired of failure and would rather use the easy way out.
(but now that I have a fly swatter Istill always try to push them out the door first...I don't like death, especially being smashed)

5. I love spending my life with my Best Friend. We grow more in love each day! These last fews months have brought us even closer and I am grateful to have him by my side.

My Mom has done a remarkable job raising her kids, with lots of help and support from my dad I think they did a Wonderful job!

The lessons I have learned these past 22 years from my mom has helped me become the wife that I am today. I am so excited to be a MOM. I know it's hard. I know it's tiring. But I know it's my calling. I hope to grow up and be just like my Mom!

5th year Anniversary of our First DATE...

I got a wonderful surprise while at work...These are special flowers , they come as buds and then bloom in the next day or two. Ammon was so sweet to surprise me, I was so excited to get flowers!

5 years ago Ammon asked me to our Junior PROM! I was ecstatic!!! I wanted to go with him and had a huge crush :)

He asked...

I said YES...

He picked me up wearing a top hat and a black cape...

I was surprised with cute fuzzy tiara to wear to the dance...

We danced the night away as silly, young juniors in high school!

I got home from work at 8:30pm. We dressed up in our original attire and went to Cold Stone for ice cream. We went to my parents to take the identical picture in the living room to match our first picture 5 years prior...

Just look at us now!

(side note: i was reading in my journal and realized I weighed 13 pounds more my junior year then I do now....weird)

HAPPY EASTER!!!
This big boy loves to act like a kid...thats why I married him,
He keeps me young and active and I can't help but admire his lively kid-like personality!

My husband had the idea to have the largest easter basket...

And when the large basket got too full he pulled it in a cart...

At the end, our niece collected all the empty eggs... the hunt was a success!

Tonight we head to another hunt with cousins, but we will be leaving the large basket behind.(Thanks jen for letting us borrow your basket)

Whats new...?

FIRST things FIRST.....drum roll... Ammon got a summer internship and we are thrilled!!! Yeah! He is really excited to work in the engineering field and get some hands on experience. Good work babe!

On another note...
My cute husband and his creative mind decided we shoulde roller blade to the easter pageant and on the way to the Temple stop by Mcdonalds to use our free french fry coupon.
We had a REALLY FUN time!!! Lots of laughs and yummy ice cream!
And of course while we were trying to get a cute "couple shot" our dear friend jumped in the picture too. We love our friends :)

Our One Year Anniversary

Ammon woke up early to go play basketball and Cami went for a jog and then set up a scavenger hunt for Ammon.

Together we made a Delicious breakfast then went Rollerblading!

We Love the Temple and knew we wanted to go to celebrate our anniversary. We love living so close to the Temple!

For Dinner we used a Gift card and enjoyed the All you can eat breadsticks at Olive Garden!

Ammon wanted to get Our frist framed Picture of Christ. We went to Seagull Book to pick out this beauty. I LOVE this picture of Chirst with w child holding a Butterfly, titled "Precious in His Sight"

And the. of course I had to try on my Wedding Dress...

Lost and then Found! Our cake went missing after our wedding reception. We thought it had been thrown away, but it was just hiding in the back of the in-laws freezer. Ammon found it and kept it a secret from me, then surprised me on our anniversary. I was so happy to have the tradition of eating the top of the cake.

We went to Candlelight park where we have been many times and enjoyed eating our cake, dancing to our wedding song, and reminicing about the past year.

Body Worlds

Last week we went to the Science Center to see Body Worlds...

I had a free pass, so we jumped on the opportunity and had a Blast! I won't go into details, but it was amazing! Our bodies are a piece of art...they are so complex and it is incredible to know how we function. Wow!

We played around the science center trying out all the fun gadgets...

I am one happy Girl!

I feel blessed today... Not because I get everything I want, but because I see everything I can have.

Living Life...

* today I was off work and able to take care of my sick husband...get well soon Ammon!

* I used my two hands to do some yard work. My Mom taught me to pull weeds... is it bad that I liked it?

* I made choco chip cookies that didn't look or taste too bad...usually they don't turn out like the recipe's picture, but today they kind of did!

* I woke up this morning with a friend on my mind...who knew I had a letter waiting in my mailbox from her. That made me very happy!

*I ran for 30mins...much needed and much enjoyed :)

If anyone is feeling down on themselves... look up, reach out, and smile. Life is good!

SEDONA...

I left Thursday morning to attend a seminar all about MFR (myofascial release)...it was life changing! I Loved every minute. I will post again all about what I learned from that course.

Ammon came up Friday afternoon and we had a fun weekend. When I didn't have class we were hiking, walking the streets, eating out, in the hot tub, and enjoying every minute of this beautiful city.

We both bought sun glasses...no i didn't choose the pink ones.

We hiked Bell rock and so we were told there is a Vortex near by. This is my funny husband meditating over the vast valley...

A funfilled Saturday

The day started out with Ammon's usual 6am basketball game and I continued to sleep until he returned....
Then we were off to the Temple! I love living so close to a Temple, it is a HUGE Blessing!

We changed into our Hiking attire and headed to our favorite little mountain, off brown and Elliot. We held hands hiking to the top then had a delicious little Picnic...
Consisting of bagels and cream cheese, pretzels and apples... just perfect for a Saturday Lunch.

In the Evening we had some of our friends over to get the Gang back together....

We made calsones and ate a lot of yummy desserts. Then played games and laughed until the night ended and we said Goodbye, but not before I got a quick picture to capture a memory.

My mom said:

We made no bake cookies a lot

She loved to play dress up and put on make-up

We would make home made play dough

We headed to the Nicoll home to act like kids and have a fun date...

We made no bake cookies and while they froze we played dress up!

Then we did face painting in place of the make-up

We made Play dough!

And We even danced...Ammon's little sister asked my brother to Sadies and they were having the pre-dance activity.

Life is wonderful....but you have to make it that way.
I am realizing I make the choice to how I want my day to go.

Each day at work I make choices:

1. Should I be offended by what others say to me?
2. Should I get mad when things don't go how i wanted?
3. Should I get upset when it's 3pm and I haven't gotten a lunch break yet?
Noo I don't think I should!
Last week was my first week when I felt great leaving work. Lets just say A "First job" is not always the funnest at first, but I stuck it out and now I am grateful I didn't give up. Giving up wouldn't have gotten me anywhere. Learning from everything is the key...

Life is Life. I want to make it Wonderful!
Today is my day off, YAY!
I'm Heading to the doctor today to make sure I am healthy and well. I have been blessed with good health. I am trying to count my blessings more, It definitely changes my attitude when I remember everything I am blessed to have.

PHOENIX SUNS
My boss let me leave one hour early from work and gave me two suns tickets, 8th row behind the hoop! I took my hubby and made it to the game at half time just in time to enjoy the second half.
HIGHLIGHTS were:
1. Seeing MJ, Michael Jordan... He was with the other team, we were right by the railing where he walked by with the team. So COOL!!

2. One of the stunt guys went for a dunk off the tramp and accidentally went too high, falling through the hoop head first, and landing without getting hurt. It was hilarious! It was not supposed to happen, but it sure made us laugh!

SNOW TRIP

We went up to Pine to play in the snow last week with another couple and we had a BLAST! The snow was perfect for snowmen and we found a great spot for sledding. Enjoy some pictures:

How we celebrated New Years Eve:
*I got home from work at 5:00, then headed to the SUNS game (this was the present at work this year). We were in a suite and had a good time eating and cheering on our favorite team

* after the game we took our rounds around to the parents house to wish everyone a Happy New Year

*We returned home to light our own sparklers, reminisce about 2010, and make new goals for 2011

Today we took a drive to "Our spot". Ammon took me here while we were emgaged to look at the leaves change color and it is also where we took our engagement photos.

We had a nice subway picnic and enjoyed exploring the fun area...

We wanted to put up a rope swing, but the Verde River was too high and we were unable to cross. So we will go back in a few months to hang up a swing, so we can go back each year to go swinging together.

Our first Christmas as a Married couple

We had a wonderful Christmas together. I love the reason for the season, Happy Birthday to our Savior!

Ammon surprised me with rollerblades that I had been wanting

I combined all our letters that we wrote back and forth for two years into a book...

We had fun filling out stockings. We each had $10, walked around wal-mart separately and surprised eachother on Christmas.

Special tradition to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus before opening gifts.

Ammon and I acted out the nativity. We were all the characters and had a fun time doing this new tradition we want to start with our own children someday.

Ammon Loves the smell of christmas trees....it was our 2nd annual smelling Christmas trees at a tree lot...

We are loving our Life together and Love the time we get to spend together. Last night Ammon took the night off of studying and I did not have work, so we played games and watched Elf and had a wonderful evening with just the two of us.

I am Thankful for so many things...

2. Finally feeling like I belong at my work. It took a few months, but I now enjoying my job and things are working out
3. A sister who is always willing to teach me new things. We made cute headbands on Sunday!
4. A warm home in a good neighborhood.
5. My Primary calling. I really enjoy being in primary with the 6 year olds and learning from their Faith
6. My car! I finally paid off my car loan and it feels so good to have no loans
7. The words of the Prophet.
8. Good health, Ammon and I have both been blessed with a healthy body and rarely get sick

For our first Halloween together we were a S'more!!!
We had a wonderful evening full of Family, Food and Fun!

We first went to Grandma Bank's for pizza and clam chowder...Delicious! My grandparents will be leaving on a Mission in March. I have gone to their house for Halloween since I was born. I enjoyed being with cousins and enjoying our last year together at Grandma and Grandpas.

Then we headed to the Nielsen's. They out their pet tarantula in the candy bowl and it was fun to watch the kids expressions.

We finished off the night watching Ernest Scared Stupid with the married siblings and Landon.

I don't want to bore you with details, so I will give a short description of each picture.

This woman was the reason we went to visit. Ammon baptized her and she was going through the Temple for the first time. She wanted Ammon to be there. She LOVES Ammon!!! He played a huge role in her life. She had a very rough background and has come a long way in her life.

This Street tortured Ammon! He passed it about every other day and was forced to think of me each time. i think it was there for a reason...:)

Birthday Fun

I turned 22 on Thursday. The party started Wednesday night. I came home from work to a surprise party with the Nicoll family. It was fabulous! My sister made a cake, Brig and Em got me subway for dinner, and we opened up some presents!

Then Ammon woke me up early on Thursday and surprised me with a small hike to the top of a mountain to watch the sunrise. It was Beautiful!!! We came home and it was present time! Ammon got me: a new mp3 player so running will be more enjoyable, almond joys, new mascara, scrapbook supplies, and an adorable heart frame with a picture of us kissing.
We got ready for the day and headed off to Joes Farm grill for a FREE breakfast!

My grandma Banks took me out to lunch with My mom and sisters to Vito's. We had a great time! In the evening Ammon and our friends planned a get together. We made caramel apples and played games. It was fun hanging out like old times and reminiscing about the old days!

My First Birthday as a Married woman was a Success! I had a wonderful Birthday! Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy Birthday and made my day special!

My Fairytale

Ammon wanted to surprise me with an
early Birthday present...

I dropped off my ring two weeks ago to get fixed. (I had bent it on the door and need to get them put together). The day after I dropped it off Ammon went in and asked for them to engrave something on it. He was so sneaky to do this behind my back. My Ring now says "My Fairytale" and I LOVE it!
Ammon told me when i show people my ring I will be telling them about my fairytale. Ammon makes my fairytale wonderful and exciting!

With work and school some days we dont see each other.

Like yesterday.

now it's Tuesday. Ammon is at school. I get to see him when I pick him up from school for 25mins before he heads to work and I head to work. I will get home at 8pm tonight, ammon will do homework, we will kiss, fall asleep and start all over again.

Sorry for the lame post. I think I miss my husband. a lot.

HAPPY NEWS: I am going to pick up my wedding ring this morning from Kay Jewelers. One night I was so excited to see my husband after one of our long days without eachother. I quickly swung the door open and my wedding band was stuck on the door. I was swung back with the door and the band was warped. We had a warranty luckily and it didnt cost anything. I am now getting the two rings put together so this does not happen again. I have missed my ring. So excited to put it back on my finger!

I can't get over this girl! This morning I ran over to my Sisters house. My niece got on her small bike and we went on a short bike ride. I am so glad we live so close and I can run over anytime and say Hello.

I have the entire day off from work and I get to catch up on life at home.

Ammon and I did a little work out and this was my get up

I picked Ammon up from school and had sometime to spend with him before he left for work.

I went grocery shopping with my sweet niece and we had a ball! I love that little girl so much!

I sold back some of my school books. I went online to see how much I could get for them....I decided to sell 5. So I packaged them all up and now I am anticipating a check in the mail :)

It was a great day!

Now it's Friday, time to go to work...but I love being a PTA so it's worth the long day and tired feet.

Rain Date

My sweet husband took me out to dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe in AZ mills. The food was yummy and we loved the wild life entertainment. We never go out to eat so this was a special treat!

The thunderstorms in the rain forest were scary...we held eachother close!

When we got home we watched Singing in the Rain...Love it!

When out of the blue we heard rain outside! We left the door open and enjoyed listening to the rain storm while on the couch for the movie.

After the movie Ammon took me outside to see the rain. We danced in the rain and the puddles!!! Remember King and I, when they dance...123 and 123 and 123? We danced like that through the puddles across the street. The roads were floaded and the puddles were deep. We had so much fun and came back soaked! It was midnight when we finished our dancing in the rain. I had a Great night! Everything involved Rain and he didnt even plan for it to rain.

Early morning wedding

Our friends got married yesterday. Ammon and I had the morning off of work so it worked perfectly and were able to attend the 9am sealing. It was Beautiful! When I attend weddings I can't help but think about ours and remember the feelings of being in the Temple with family and friends and holding my best friends hand.

Ammon was a grooms man so I enjoyed capturing some pics of him and the boys.

Ammon had a class and had to miss the reception, but we hurried over and beat the Bride and groom to their hotel and decorated their room. They requested little cesars pizza, So I spiced it up a little and had the pizza guy make me a pizza with the pepperonis in a heart shape. Ammon and I had fun decorating!

After a late night, we started out our morning at 6am. Ammon let me sleep in and said goodbye when he left at 6. Now I wait 15 more hours until I get to see him again.

I really enjoy my job. It makes me love saturday and sunday night even more. I am starting to work every other saturday. But at least I get off at 1 and can spend the rest of the afternoon doing stuff together.

I wanted Ammon's Birthday to be perfect
- I wrapped his presents two weeks early so the anticipation would build
- He helped me make an ice cream chocolate cake that was really yummy, but I need to work on my presentation skills
- I made him French Toast for breakfast and he treated himself to Wendy's with a gift card for lunch
- I hurried home from work to be with him and hang out during the last hours of his birthday opening presents and talking about his Birthday celebrations
- we put together a puzzle (can't you see the resemblance?)

Chocolate Milk and Bubbles

Our Saturday Late Night date...

We went to the store to get fun straws. Then Ammon set up our stations. We mixed the chocolate in the milk and the contest began to make the most bubbles!

I am not a fan of Milk, but I tried the chocolate milk and drank the entire cup, Mmmm Loved it!

Check out these Bubbles! Chocolate milk makes the best bubbles, they ran over the cup and the table was covered with chocolate milk bubbles.

We are having so much fun spending time together!

This morning when we woke up I read Ammon my journal entry from the week of July 22-30, 2009

"Ammon poked his head out while we were walking up the walkway. I stopped in my tracks. And Looked at him. He was wearing a black hat, white shirt and jean shorts. I watched him look at the guys and hug them and every now and then he would look at me standing 10ft away. The guys went into the house and He walked up to me. I probably looked stunned to see him. He gave me a hug...He made me feel 18 again..I felt like he never left."

Today marks one year for Elder Nielsens return. SO much has happened. I have learned so much from this past year. I wouldnt have wanted it any other way.

He means everything to me

p.s. for years I dreamed of spending my life with this boy, and now it is no longer a dream. I love sharing my life with him.

UTAH Reunion

Last weekend we took a trip to Utah for a Robins Reunion. I met lots of cousins and had fun spending time with Ammons side of the family.

Grandpa Robins has horses so we did a fun little rodeo

Ammmon's Mom found her old bell bottoms... They were pretty attractive on me, NOT!

And now my Ammon is sick. I am trying to take good care of him, but I am gone most of the day at work and he has Bus training this week. So I made him soup for dinner, hopefully that makes him smile.

New Job

This week I started my new job! I am now working in Gilbert (Pecos and Higley) at an outpatient clinic. The Staff is absolutely wonderful! The therapists I work under are Awesome and have already taught me so much. I Love the patient population at this clinic. It's GREAT!!!

except the hours are going to take some time getting used to...

After we were married I would hear about other couples who work on opposite schedules and only see each other an hour in the morning and an hour or at night.

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY and FRIDAY I work at 9:30am and dont get home until 8:30/9:00pm. My Poor husband gets home at 5:30 and eats dinner alone and has to occupy himself until I get home. I Work TUESDAY, but luckily I am home in time for dinner and THURSDAY I have off. And I work every other SATURDAY 7:00 to 1:00

There will be some change in the office at the end of the summer and I am hoping to get the morning schedule so my husband doesnt have to spend three nights a week alone at home.

Ranch Weekend

Branding. Tent. Fireworks. Cousins. Sunshine. Brown's Creek. Stargazing. Campfire. Testimony meeting. Grandpa's Story time. Food. Pop. Laughs. Dirt roads.

I Loved seeing my husband get in on the branding. He was the designated one to clip the calves ears. The first 1/3 of the calves the cowboys roped and branded there on the ground. The rest were done the way we always do with the kids running the calf down the shoot into a metal trap that holds them in place.

We had a fabulous weekend!

This is mile 282 where Ammon asked me to be his Wife. It is on the Rim just past Payson. I love passing this spot every time we go camping.

I DID IT

I have been studying for over a month straight and I found out this weekend that I PASSED my certification tests and am now a
PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT!!!
The tests were:
A 100 question AZ LAW exam and a 200 question National PTA Exam which was a 4 hour long brutal online exam!

I spent Saturday Evening looking through all my papers, outlines, books and note cards from the passed two years. There was a lot!

I compiled what i wanted to save and the rest went into the recycle...I was a notecard queen! The trash can is full of notecards.

Looking through my stuff brought back so many memories. With not much going on those two years with ammon on his mission and some friends away at school I spent most weekends studying and actually loved every moment. I enjoyed school so much! I am moving on and its time to find a job

I am So Happy I Passed!!! I was so worried! My Husband and family were the greatest cheerleaders. I am so thankful for a wonderful support group who had me in their thoughts and prayers encouraging me the whole way! Love you

Chicken Feet

This morning I made My Husband breakfast and tonight we are making dinner then heading over to the parents for bananasplits, yum! Ammon needed a new watch, so with wedding giftcards we bought him a new watch!

I Love This Boy!!! Saturday night we stopped by my mom's work party at Stapley pool. Ammon Stood in line for the diving board with all the little kids. It was such a funny sight!!

Later we went to a friends reception then to see TOY STORY 3. It was so so good!!! I actually got a little teary at the end. I definately reccommend this movie for all ages.

Weekend trip to Utah

Ammon's Grandma was reunited with her husband who passed away in October 2009. She passed away at 11:30 at night, just 30 minutes before her husbands birthday. She wanted to be with him for his birthday, so cute! They were such a sweet couple! It was a wonderful weekend, seeing family and learning more about Ammon's Grandparents

The morning of the Funeral it was raining, but it stopped by the time the funeral started, that was a blessing. Ammon took me dancing in the rain! I Love that boy! That was our favorite part of the trip

Funny story... Back in October when grandpa died, Ammon had a great idea to put star stickers on Grandmas bedroom sign at the Assisted living home saying The" World's Best Grandparents". When we went back this weekend to sort through grandma's stuff the star stickers were still on her bedroom sign! We hope Grandma liked our Stars :)

we saw this cool car multiple times driving up... and I wanted a picture with it :)

The drive up we enjoyed eating Pretzels :)

The family went through Grandma and Grandpas house and brought back alot of stuff: Furniture, Clothes, Jewlery, games, and more!

I found one of Grandma's rings. I dont know the story behind it, but its gold with a small diamond and I think it's special. I also got one of her pearl necklaces and Grandpas coat. We are now the owners of Their long Dresser with a big Mirror. I am excited, my parents have one and I have always wanted a dresser like this one.

Summer has Begun!

Ammon and I are soaking in every minute we have together. It seems since we got married school has consumed us and now that it is summer we love the time we get to spend together.

We went hiking in the Beautiful Mesa Weather...

The studying for the National and State Exams have begun... I'm blessed to have a husband with a job and willing to work so I can study and finish my certificate.

I graduated with an Associates degree from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Gateway Community College.

So many people came to support me, I felt so loved!

It really was a Perfect night. After the ceremony My Mom threw me a graduation party with more friends and family and we ate Fried Ice Cream Balls with homemade caramel, strawberrys and whipped cream...YUMM!!!

Thank you to everyone who supported me through the last three years.

My Mom is the main reason this all came true. Without her pushing me my Senior year to turn in my application and get the pre requisits finished i would not have gotten into the program when I did. She helped me see what I could become. THANK YOU MOM!

I am now off to study, study, study so I can pass the National and State exams in June then on to the workfield...

Ammon suprised me with this note in my car.On April 29th 2006 We went on our first date. I had forgotten the exact day, but Ammon is reminded every year when the 29th comes around.
So this year was our fourth year anniversary of our first date! Ammon took me on another date out to dinner! It was so sweet that he remembered and made it a very special day.

We had a blast on our honeymoon! we stayed in Oceanside right on the beach and watched the suntsets and listened to the waves from our balcony. We had many adventures:
San Diego Zoo
Whale Watching- we saw a grey whale, dolphins, sea lions and a seal
Walked around the San Diego Temple
Got lost driving up and down the beautiful Hills
Ate out on the pier
Made a sand castle and burried Ammon in the sand
Long walks on the beach

My Valentine

Ammon is so sweet! It was fun having a Valentine. We spent almost all of Saturday and Sunday with each other! Sunday night he kidnapped me and took me away for a romantic evening with a tandem bike ride, cart ride, candle lit table with Flowers, sparkling cider and chocolate, and Dancing with a view of the city lights.

A Princess for a Night

A Prince showed up at my door Saturday night with his puffy sleeves and Pumpkin Carriage. He had a Princess dress for me. Off we rode into the Sunset/moonlight to a Park where we could build our Castle in the sand.

Our Castle turned out Amazing! We made a large castle, outhouse, dog/guest house with pet dog, a Moat with water and alligators to protect us from the intruders and my prince and I made into stick figures. (Sorry no picture, We drove by the next day and we drove up right in the act of a little boy jumping on our Castle).

We ended our night with a Spaghetti Dinner and a movie.

Friend Bridal Shower

I had my Friend shower a little bit early because two of my fabulous friends are leaving on their missions next week! A BIG Thank you to Angela for being a wonderful host and doing so much for the shower! Also Thank you to my sister and sis in law for bringing yummy desserts and making my shower so much fun. Thank you for everyone who came! It made it extra special to have so many of my friends there.

Ammon took me on a date to the ZOO in July 2007 before he left for his Mission.

Now it's December 2009 and a little bit colder and he took me again!

Have I mentioned before that I Love this Boy? I love every moment together, even all the wedding planning. Things are coming along great. I even got my ring which I absolutely adore! It's perfect! He picked it out all on his own and I seriously would have picked it for me. I Love it!

I am so happy I kept a journal with so much detail during High school! I would have forgotten so many memories and experiences if I would not have written them down.

Institute Ball

I love when Ammon comes up with fun ways to ask me on dates. For the Institute ball he put this poster and spread the cheese slices around my room. My room smelt like cheese! He thought it would be funny to say I had to look in the bowl of cheese with my teeth to discover what was inside. My brother gladly volunteered and found a paper that explained that we really didnt need to look in the bowl of cheese... But Jacob had fun anyways, with his cheese goatee

Ammon had a Chemistry review before the Ball, so I sat in with him then headed over to dinner and the dance.

I did not want to "dress up" so we went on the casual side. Big Thanks to Emily and Angela for helping me find a dress

I am going to marry my Best Friend!

Ammon drove me up to the Rim past Payson Thanksgiving morning at 4:30. His Dad raises pigeons and will drop them off places then see if they fly home. This is a common occurrence with Ammon's family so I thought nothing of it. We had planned to watch the sunrise then let the pigeons go once it was bright.

On the drive up, Ammon gave me a present. It was a Fairytale CD made up of fairytale songs and a few of our favorites. We got to the rim early so we stayed warm in the car. Before we walked out to the edge of the rim to watch the sunrise he grabbed something out of the truck without me seeing what it was. He then told me a "fairytale is not a fairytale without a Princess". Ammon placed the Pink plastic tiara he gave me when we went to Junior prom on my head and off we went to enjoy the Sunrise.(He had my brother sneak into my room the night before while I was sleeping and take the tiarah from off my shelf) We stood overlooking the beautiful forest down below with the sun just starting to rise. He decided there was a good Snuggle rock for us to sit on, and then while we were wrapped in blankets and trying to stay warm I took off the tiara and placed it on a branch so my sweatshirt hood could keep my ears warm. Ammon began talking about our future and told me he wanted to make me a Queen. He stood up to retrieve my tiara and placed it on my head again, then got down on one knee. For the first time that morning I realized he was proposing.
"Camille Lee Nicoll, Will you Marry Me?"
Ammon wanted me to pick out my ring so he got me a cute temporary ring with two hearts until we pick out my official ring. I was happy it was a surprise engagement. I was so surprised!!!

When we pulled up to my house my family had made me this Soon to be Cami Nielsen sign and then we walked into my home with caleb playing 'here comes the bride' on the piano and Andrew on the guitar.

I really do feel like we have made our own fairytale. I fell in love with Ammon our Junior year in High school. We had the secret relationship in high school and before his mission and now we get to live Happily ever after!

I asked Ammon afterwards if he asked my Dad for my hand in marriage. He said, "What do you think we were talking about in Chinese Sunday night in the kitchen". I was sitting right by them while they were speaking to eachother in Chinese and Ammon asked my Dad for my hand in marriage... Right infront of me!!! I had told my dad that he needs to talk to Ammon in Chinese whenever possible so I thought they were just having one of their normal conversations, but I was wrong. This conversation only happens once in a life time!

We are planning on a March wedding!

Saltine Crackers...

Date Night!!! Tonight Ammon took me out and I had the most wonderful fun filled night. Seriously!

The night included:
-A good friends wedding reception.

-then off to Main street to take pictures with the statues.

-my most favorite part of the night was the visit to the Temple where we made our
fairytale castle out of saltine crackers.

-then drove to the desert to star gaze and talk it up in the back of his truck on his living room couch. We saw a shooting star!

-ended at my house and watched The Man From Snowy River. Ammon hadnt seen this since he got home and it was my first time. And I liked it!

Trip to Utah

This past weekend I went to Utah with The Nielsens for their Grandpa's funeral. The trip was short and sweet, but I had such a great time!

I....

-met a ton of his family

-admired all of the colorful leaves (over and over again!)

-racked, then got thrown into a huge pile of leaves

-went on a zip line

-saw snow on the mountains :)

-rode a horse

-shivered...so that meant I snuggled

-went on foot to hunt a deer(no luck)

-spent alot of time with this Boy and his Amazing family

I really, truly LOVE when the leaves change! It was beautiful even though I caught the end of the season.

I had a wonderful time visiting Utah, but I admit I enjoy our warm weather here in Mesa, AZ

I turned 21, can you believe it? wow and I mean wow! I had an Amazing Birthday. My family and friends made my birthday a special day for me.
My Mom made me breakfast and dinner
My big sister, who was very pregnant at the time, deep cleaned my room and then heart attacked my newly cleaned room
My family all came over for dinner and pie to celebrate with me
My Ammon made my day with something special, seriously he is so sweet!
My dearest friend Jane Dear made me an incredible blanket. she worked so hard and it is beautiful!
My Study Buddy and I went to the Chinese Cultural Center during a break and took some fun pictures
My friends kiddnapped me and took me away to a little surprise party
Many texts and phone calls from friends and family kept me smiling allday long

Thank you to everyone who had a hand in celebrating my special day with me.

To the Ranch we go! I was able to go to the ranch for a few days and help with a round up. I had a wonderful time and it was fun to spend the weekend with my two brothers, Andrew and Jacob, Mom, dad and Ammon

The next weekend I went camping with the Nielsen family. It was So much fun and I was crowned "Big Booty"

What more could I ask for... Its been a wonderful October and it keeps getting better

Roller UNO

Wednesday Night I walked out to my car and found it covered in mismatched SOCKS! and a poster asking me on a date for this weekend... So Cute, Right?

He was coming to pick me up later that night to go "dancing" so I layed the socks out on my lawn Y E S

And on Saturday night I was surprised with Roller UNO! Ever heard of it? Most likely not. This boy is amazing! We rollerbladed while pulling a table with wheels around the neighborhood ending up at Golden Spoon for some ice cream (yes we had to cross the busy street with our very sturdy table on wheels)

*note the hats: My brother dressed me for my date and we decided hats were a Go, so we had Ammon wear one and look wierd right along side me!

At Golden Spoon we experienced feeding eachother ice cream with sprinkles using CHOPSTICKS!!! We were a tad messy, but it was actually a success!

We didnt have the camera when we ate ice cream, so we took pictures eating cereal once we got back home

The date was so much fun and very creative!!! Bonus points for sure!

This has been such a great weekend! I didnt want Monday to come. I have to work hard in school this week, so I will have to limit my time with certain people and focus more...i used to be so good at focussing on school, what happened?!

I came home from school today to my brother listening to that song upstairs in his room. I sang along while I made a creative meal...banana and honey warmed up in a tortilla...? its interesting.

New Motto: Take one hour at a time and when that gets too hard, do Yoga!

my school in a nut shell

This is my school. Gateway Community College, on 40th street Phoenix

These are the doors I walk through to go into the health Science Building. I love the big glass windows, My classes are upstairs

This the the "clinic" room where we have our labs. This is when we learn how to use certain machines, do exercises, learn techniques; massage, muscle testing, goniometry, facilitation, manual stretching, and lots and lots more...

Mr. Bones...He's the Man!

This curtain and I are very close friends...we met in August 08 and sit by eachother on a regular basis.

Today we did electrical stimulation and this specific equipment was more intense than the others so we were a little nervous...but after a few shocks and stings we both made it through the treatment

There are a little over 20 classmates.We take all of our classes together Monday through Thursday. We get along so well and have so much fun learning new things and sharing the same interests. We want to make a difference in health care and help people reach their highest potential with their daily living. I am so excited to graduate in May!

p.s. We never take pictures, but I used the excuse that I got a new camera and during our break we snapped a few to capture the moment

Well she's having a baby boy!!!

New hair cut & School!!!

last week after a spell of bravery came over me I asked my sister to cut off 4 inches and color my hair. I am hardly ever brave enough to cut off more than 2 inches. but it happened. she did an amazing job and I am very happy with the new look... 4 1/2 inches and low lights :)
